Shining Bright Productions is a Christian production company that produces gospel, musicals, inspirational, and family stage plays.​ The company is always looking for new actors to work with in all of it's stage productions. Stage plays like Daddy Where Are You? have had sold out shows at Dc Black Theater Festival. Daddy Where Are You? and A Form of Godliness which is a musical were Spotlighted as special features at the Dc Black Theater Festival. Two Sisters was featured in the One Act Battle at the Dc Black Theater Festival at Bus Boys and Poets.  Shining Bright Productions has worked with actors from Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, New York, and Philadelphia.

ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT

Arlette Thomas-Fletcher, Playwright, Director, Producer

Arlette Thomas-Fletcher is truly a multi-talented artist and entertainer. As a playwright and director she has sold out shows for her plays "Daddy Where Are You?" She was also featured at the Dc Black Theater Festival for her plays “Manhood”, "Daddy Where Are You?" and "A Form of Godliness".  She is also a writer, producer, and Director, Arlette Thomas-Fletcher is an Indie Film maker at Fruits of The Spirit Productions Inc.  She is also an author of "Poetry for The Soul",  an inspirational poetry book. Arlette is a singer/songwriter and has won awards from Beat 100 and her song " You're Not Alone" was the official selection of the International Christian Awards.

Mrs. Thomas-Fletcher is the Writer, Producer, and Director of the film "The Lonesome Trail" which is now in post-production. The Lonesome Trail trailer was the Official Selection of the Christian Life International Film festival. The Lonesome Trail script won best screenplay from the Christian Film Festival and was selected by Los Angeles Lift Off Film Festival. Mrs. Thomas-Fletcher started her career as an actor as a young child in Maryland. Arlette is known for her enthusiasm, energy and compassion for the entertainment industry. Mrs. Thomas-Fletcher has skills as a producer, director, screenwriter, playwright, singer/songwriter, and an actor. 

 

Her film works have been featured at the Baltimore Women’s Film Festival, Attic Film Festival, Torpedo Factory Art Center Female Shorts & Film and Video Showcase, The Phoenix International Christian Film Festival, and World Music Independent Film Festival. She has won the Communicator Award and Indie Film Fest Award. Arlette has won numerous awards like a Silver Telly award, TIVA awards for scriptwriting and directing. Arlette’s music videos have won many awards such as the Global Music Awards, Communicator Awards and Accolade Awards.

This is a story of three families which all have one thing in common which is the importance of fathers in a child's life. Learn about how each family addresses the many issues that each father need to be apart of.

A FROM OF GODLINESS

"A Form of Godliness", is a stage play written by Arlette Thomas-Fletcher.  It is the story of Marla Meekins a Christian woman who is living a double life. As the story unfolds we see how devious and underhanded she is. This all goes on until God stops her cold with a dramatic change in her life. She and her side kick Treeka are having a blast! Until things take a dramatic change and everyone is shocked as God deals with "A Form of Godliness."

TWO SISTERS

“Two Sisters” is a stage-play about two sisters who grew up in the same household but found themselves on two different roads. Tanika has found herself caught up in a life in the streets trying to forget her past demons. Shawnette enjoys her life and finds happiness in her success. Her greatest disappointment is that she is taking care of her older sister. The story is a dramatic rendition of love, family, compassion and relationships. It takes each character on a journey to find their way back to their spiritual connections to God. The cast consists of Antoinette Greene Fisher as Tanika, Elana Michelle as Shawnette. Our stage manager is Eva Ward. Playwright, Director, Producer Arlette Thomas-Fletcher

Shining Bright Productions has worked on plays about fatherhood relationships such as "Daddy Where Are You?" and "Manhood." The plays are full of scenes with emotion and excitement. There are also stage plays like "Two Sisters" and "A Form of Godliness which is a musical which focuses on sensitive topics that can pierce the heart and motivate the mindset of audiences.
